I Wanna Be Sedated
I have decided I really hate this song.
I wanna be sedated all right, everytime I hear it anymore.
Maybe I'm getting old, but it isn't that great of a song to begin with, yet everyone and their brother has covered it. No offence to the Ramones, they will always hold a spot in Rock-N-Roll history.
The song is referenced in movies, and even Jordan Catalano's (My So Called Life)band did a version.
I am not sure why, but when I hear "twenty, twenty, twenty, four hours to go..."
I just want to smash stuff.
(can you tell it was just on the radio Again)
Maybe that was the purpose of the song all along.

Post a CommentI feel exactly the same way, I hate this song.
Thank goodness Ash, I thought I was all alone.
I agree.
And now is the party where I admit I used to be in love with Jordan Catalano.
Oh ho ho, man. I saw Rock & Roll High School and was the exact opposite of in love with them. That part when he's all up in the blonde girl's face straddling her lap...
. Too much. That said, I'm also not a fan of this song but I do dig them. I need to find my sister
some replacement pillowcases on eBay too, she was complaining that hers are fading.
I love that eppy! Rayane sings the Seseme Street song to people in line & falls off the wagon. Poor Jorand, even this his band sux, he still has those eyes...
Who WASN'T in love with Jordan Catalano? *swoon* It takes all my mental energy to separate him from real-life narsty Jared Leto.
I will admit that, even though I am a HUGE Ramones fan, this is one of my least favorite songs of theirs.
Jordan made me *swoon* too. And I do like the Ramones. I just think I've heard "sedated" one too many times!
I need to get the My So-Called Life DVD set and have a chocolate ice cream and DVDs day. I used to watch that show religiously.
I bought a bootleg set off of eBay last year and didn't leave my house (or the couch) that weekend. But the real DVD set is on my wishlist this year.
I ♥ the Ramones. And I ♥ this song. I'm beginning to think I'm reeeeeally easily pleased when it comes to music...
i don't care for this song either.
Jen, you're not alone.
I like it, too. It's the Ramones..I love them. I'll say it
loud and proud.
I did kind of die a little inside when I heard this
song featured in a childrens movie, though. (I'm in a strange mood..I think it's all the cramp meds I'm taking.)
