I really love this song. It is by Dallas Green, a Canadian musician from St. Catherines Ontario. He is best known for his work as guitarist and lead vocals in Alexisonfire. City and Colour is an acoustic side project. They released Bring Me Your Love in February of 2008, and it includes the following song, Sleeping Sickness.
Please take the couple minutes and give it a listen.

I love acoustic to begin with, but I love the simplicity of the song, and many of the lyrics are awesome.
It doesn't hurt the song features my main man Gord Downie, from the Tragically Hip. Smiling Enjoy!
